The Downey Moose Welcomes You! At our lodge you will find a wide array of activities to participate in both as an individual and as a family. From holiday parties, dances, sports themed dinners and live entertainment. The Downey Moose Lodge has much to offer. Membership can mean different things to different people. You are the one determining what you want to get out of the organization, and what you want to give back.

Generosity is our privilege
Moose members services our communities, care for children and teens in need at Mooseheart Child City & School , a 1,000-acre campus, located 40 miles west of Chicago and care for our senior members at Moosehaven, a 70-acre retirement community near Jacksonville, Florida.

"Embrace Our Community" 2024-2025 Campaign
“Embrace our Community” highlights the good that our Fraternity has provided to our local communities for the past 100+ years and promotes what we will continue to do into the future. We embrace our communities with awareness of the Moose, ask how we as a Fraternity can assist, and invite them to join us in support of their/our community.
Let the campaign begin and with everyone’s help bring new members to share in a mutual goal and have some fun while helping others.

Attention all Moose Military Veterans.
Here at the Downey Moose Lodge we are reinstating our Moose Valued Veterans Program & Committee.
We encourage all Moose Members who served in the military to take the opportunity to look over this program and take advantage to Self-identify.
Once you have self-identified, you are eligible to receive a specialized Membership Card, a Valued Veterans pin, and a Certificate of Appreciation. Pins and certificates will be presented at one annual recognition night which will take place in November. Newly identified Valued Veterans can opt to receive a special edition membership card at their next membership renewal to be sent at no cost.

Moose Membership Mobile App is Now Live!
The Moose Membership Mobile App is live on both Google Play and the Apple App Store. Members can now download the app for free using their iPhones or any android phone (i.e. Samsung, Google Pixel, Motorola, etc.). The app includes the new electronic Moose membership card, your Moose membership record, the lodge locator, the General Laws of the Fraternity, as well as instant access to pay dues or sign a new member. Members should use their existing Moose “My Membership Record” user name and password to log in, or register in the app, if they don’t have a “My Membership Record” login.

Also, the electronic card does NOT have a magnetic strip, but rather a QR code instead, so members will still need to carry their printed card if their lodge has a mag strip reader on the entrance door that has not yet been upgraded with a QR code reader.
